Thanks for a great race!  Start planning for net year!  Help eRace World Hunger at Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp’s 19th Annual Grace Race on Saturday October 4, 2025!  This annual 5k run/walk was started as part of RTLC’s 50th anniversary in 2007, to raise money for ELCA World Hunger.  The event is held in collaboration with the Rocky Mountain Synod Hunger Network. Over the last 18 years, RTLC and the participants of Grace have contributed over $100,000 to the ELCA World Hunger Appeal.  We are aiming for 200 participants for this year’s race.  We want to top $10,000 again this year for the check that we send to the ELCA World Hunger Appeal!

FLEETEST FLOCK

Don’t forget the congregation competition for the Fleetest Flock.  We have a traveling trophy that goes to the congregation with the most participants in the race, running or walking.  Cross of Christ Lutheran in Broomfield won the trophy in  2017, 2018, and in 2019.  Augustana Lutheran in Denver has won the trophy in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and now 2024.  Encourage your congregation to make a big showing and take home some hardware!!

RACE-DAY REGISTRATION STARTS AT 2:30PM ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5th, 2024 AT THE SOUTH CENTRAL PART OF SLOAN’S LAKE PARK,
1700 N Sheridan Blvd and Utica, Denver, CO 80212!

WE ARE BACK TO OUR OLD LOCATION IN THE SOUTH PART OF THE PARK!  Take the US-6/6th Ave E Exit (Exit 209A-B) off of I-25 and then take Exit 209B toward Lakewood.  Go approximately 2.2 miles to the Sheridan Blvd/CO-95 exit. Go north on Sheridan. Take a Right on 17th Avenue.  Drive to UTICA Street, and then take a left into the parking lot.  We’ll be there!! 

Registration and the Start /Finish of the race is located by the restrooms in the south central part of the park at 17th Avenue and Utica. You will see our tents and the Rainbow Trail banner. The address of the park is 1700 N. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO.

If registered on or before September 27th, participants are guaranteed a Grace Race T-Shirt, available in adult sizes small, medium, large and x-large.*  Shirts this year are running truer to size.  new kind of shirts!

Fruit and other refreshments will be provided at the finish line, and burgers are available after the race.

*A t-shirt is not guaranteed if registered after September 26th at 4:30 pm.
