Ski retreats at Rainbow Trail are a great way to jump start some excitement and energy into your youth or family programs during the cold winter months of the year. Enjoy days filled with skiing or snowboarding at Monarch Mountain, and evenings filled with worship and fellowship at RTLC. With meals, lodging, lift tickets, and ski rental all through one place, planning a Ski Retreat couldn’t be easier.
The Skiing
Monarch Mountain is a family and group friendly ski resort just over an hour from Rainbow Trail. It has great skiing and snowboarding for beginners and plenty of challenging terrain for the experts. Monarch caters to groups offering discounted lift tickets and rentals, (available through Rainbow Trail) a group lunch room, and a layout that funnels everything back towards one central lodging, making it easy to find people in your group. Group lessons are available through Monarch for individuals if desired.
Evening Activities
After a day on the slopes come back to Rainbow Trail for a relaxed evening of fellowship, bible study, games, or worship. RTLC staff can lead group building activities or facilitate a Thomas Mass prayer worship that is participatory and reflective. A variety of board games, dominoes, and puzzles are available and offer a great opportunity for group interaction and fun.
Lodging
Rainbow Trail offers a variety of lodging options to meet the needs of groups big or small. Comfortable meeting spaces and a welcoming staff make RTLC a great place to get away to. Click Here to see the lodging and meeting space options.
Food
Delicious hot breakfasts and suppers are served family style in Rainbow Trail’s dining hall before and after your day of skiing. At breakfast, the sandwich bar will be set up so that you can pack sack lunches and snacks for your day of skiing. Monarch’s group lunch room is a great place to gather and regroup midday, and packing your lunches will help your group save money. Evening snacks are available at Rainbow Trail or you can choose to bring your own.
