Escape from the busyness of the holiday weekend for a great family getaway. Discover the peace of Advent, through worship and time for reflection and renewal, so you can enjoy the real meaning of the season.  You may start new family traditions as you fill your weekend learning new crafts, baking and decorating cookies, singing around the Christmas Tree, or just pulling a chair up next to a fireplace with a good friend and a cup of hot cocoa.
Our weekend will be centered around morning and evening worship that walks us through the Advent season, preparing our hearts and minds for the coming of Christmas.  Wonderful music, candlelight, and reflections on the season by a guest Pastor make for an unforgettable experience. Throughout the day, amazing crafters will share their skills and help you make beautiful gifts to share or keep for your own home.

GUEST SPEAKER – 2023

Chad and Aly Kohlmeyer serve as Pastors at Atonement Lutheran Church, Boulder, CO and Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Broomfield, CO, respectively.  They are passionate about the role that faith plays in their family’s life. Both greatly enjoy building relationships and experiencing the Spirit’s movement and guidance in the midst of communities.

The Kohlmeyers live in Broomfield, CO and spend most of their free time attending the sporting events and activities of their three boys, Holden, Eaven, and Sullivan. They also enjoy adventuring outdoors in the Colorado, and their annual treks to RTLC for summer camp!
