CHARTER TRIPS
You are invited to join Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp for an amazing backpacking adventure in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Colorado! We will provide you and your group with a Christ-centered adventure that will challenge you both physically and spiritually. Jordan, a camper from Colorado put it this way, I learned “how to be pushed past my comfort zone and allow others to carry me at times as well as giving God control.”
Charters include at least two nights in base camp (Sunday and Friday) at Eagle Peak Lodge and 2-4 four nights out in the wilderness of the Sangres. Rainbow Trail provides backpacks, tents, food, first aid kits, stoves, insurance, and all trail permits. Gear outfitting and orientation precedes all trips. Detailed information, including what to bring, is supplied as part of a charter booking.
Compass Points guides are mature, experienced counselors with deep and active faith in Jesus Christ. Their passion for youth, faith, and the outdoors will amaze and inspire you! Our goal is to provide your group with a thrilling week of Christian adventure designed with your needs in mind! They always did what was best for us while still letting us take risks and push ourselves.”

AGE REQUIREMENTS — Entering 7th-12th grade
2025 CHARTER FEES INCLUDE
- Choice of 3 days-5 days of backpacking (CLICK HERE to see sample itineraries) and additional activities (listed below) for non-backpacking days, to fill an amazing week long adventure.
- ½ day White Water Rafting*
- High and Low Ropes
- Service Project
- Food and lodging for the week.
- All group backpacking equipment, including tents, backpacks, cooking gear, and more!
- Two amazing Rainbow Trail Guides

2025 FEES — $575/Person (Minimum 10, Maximum 13 per Charter Trip)
A deposit of $100 per person is required within 30 days of contract to reserve your trip.
