Important Notes:
– Early morning communion will be on Tuesday and Thursday at 7:15 a.m. on the ball field.
– Popshop and Arts and Crafts will be open everyday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. (Children must be accompanied by a counselor or a parent when at Arts and Crafts).
– Woodcarving is available for adults and older children (4th grade and up). Sign up will be on the board outside of Aspen Lodge each morning.
– A morning cookout is available for anyone who would like to join us on Friday morning at 7:15 a.m. by the Fire Circle.

Monday
Fire Hike: 3 miles round trip, trail hiking, relatively easy
Circle Hike: Easy 1 mile loop. Great for hiking with kids
Tuesday
Venable Falls: 8 miles round trip to waterfalls; need to provide own transportation
North Rainbow: 5 miles round trip, easy trail hiking
Wednesday
Eagle Peak: Leaving at 7:00 a.m., 14 miles round trip; very challenging hike – all day
Balman Reservoir: 4 miles round trip; trail and road hiking to a reservoir
Fire Hike: 3 miles round trip; trail hiking, relatively easy
Thursday
Cottonwood Peak : Leaving at 7:00 a.m.; 20 miles round trip, 12 miles with four-wheel drive vehicle; challenging hike
Circle Hike: Easy 1 mile loop. Great for hiking with kids
Friday
Peerless: 10 miles round trip; trail and road hiking; good challenge
South Rainbow: 6 miles round trip; trail hiking, relatively easy terrain
Balman Reservoir: 4 miles round trip; trail and road hiking to a reservoir
IMPORTANT NOTES:
– Breakfast for early hikes will be set out in the dining hall from 6:30-7:30 a.m.
– You may check out a backpack, water bottle, whistle and/or a poncho from your hike leaders prior to your hike.
Youth Afternoon Activities Schedule
There will be activities provided for kids from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm every afternoon. The activities are split between younger kids (0-8 years old) and older kids (9-13 years old) and are age appropriate. These activities are all supervised by Rainbow Trail staff. Activities for the younger kids include: environmental education, arts and crafts, pottery, parachutes, sand castles, and water games to name a few. Activities for older kids include: environmental education, woodcarving, low ropes, pottery, archery, and arts and crafts.
