AN INVITATION FROM THE DIRECTOR

Theme verse:  “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; that I know very well”  Psalm 139:14

WELCOME TO RAINBOW TRAIL!

Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp invites you to join us for an outstanding opportunity to share in the love and joy of God’s family.  We are an outreach ministry of the congregations of the Rocky Mountain Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and are located in the heart of the San Isabel National Forest of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.  The majestic wilderness becomes an excellent setting for growth and renewal.   We encourage campers to make new friends and develop new skills while discovering the gifts they already possess.  You will find that Rainbow Trail is a grace-filled place where you can really grow in your faith.  The strength of our ministry is that Christ is the center of all we do.

Our daily Bible Studies for 2024 are based on the theme “Created To Be.”  In Psalm 139, we celebrate the creator and God’s handiwork in creating each of us as unique and special beings.  We were loved by God even before we came into being, and God has been with us from the very beginning.  But God didn’t create us to just exist in this world.  We were created to share God’s love, created to be our authentic selves, created to live as Christ’s disciples, and created to be agents of change in our world.  In our studies, we will look at what it means to truly live our lives as precious creations of God.  We are called to serve others, not only at camp, but everywhere in our lives, and especially when we come down the mountain.

Rainbow Trail is accredited by the American Camp Association.  This means that we meet the highest standards of the camping industry.  Our summer staff is carefully chosen and well-trained to provide excellent Christian role models for youth.  Come spend a week with us this summer!  We’re eagerly anticipating your arrival!
